About the Position:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join Emirates Transport.

This role will be leading data architecture strategy and governance across Emirates Transport. The position will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide data solutions, ensuring data quality, security, and integration to drive business intelligence and informed decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitor technology capabilities, trends, and requirements, including emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
  • Stay updated with available data elements within the company.
  • Advise on supplier and cost options, ensuring overall solution validity in RFI/RFP processes and proof of concept evaluations.
  • Participate in peer reviews for broader architectural governance activities.
  • Lead the comprehensive planning, development, and execution of Group solutions.
  • Offer well-considered insights into the business's Data and Information Management construct.
  • Serve as a data subject matter expert, contributing to all decisions related to systems data.
  • Share knowledge among peers through various mentoring initiatives.
  • Design the data information management lifecycle relevant to the group.
  • Enforce and continually review the data information lifecycle, identifying challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Provide guidance on setting governance standards for Data and Analytics Management.
  • Ensure adherence to governance within the Data and Analytics environment.

Expected Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; master's preferred.
  • Certifications: TOGAF (mandatory), Data Architecture, Azure, Oracle, Salesforce (preferred).

Experience:

  • 10+ years in data & information architecture.
