Arabic Teacher in Ghayathi - August 2025 Start

ADNOC Schools is currently seeking high-performing Arabic Teachers for Elementary level. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School, Ghayathi Campus, located in the Western Region (Al Dhafra) of Abu Dhabi for August 2025 start.

ADNOC Schools are Massachusetts State Curriculum schools in superb facilities in Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate.

The Massachusetts Curriculum is one of the most highly regarded and successful curricula in the United States, with close links to prestigious higher education institutions such as Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Responsibilities:

  1. Creating a climate for learning that is conducive for outstanding practice.
  2. Identifying clear teaching and learning objectives.
  3. Setting tasks that challenge students and ensure high levels of interest.
  4. Setting appropriate and demanding expectations.
  5. Identifying SEN or very able students and ensuring that their needs are met through differentiation.
  6. Providing clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.
  7. Making effective use of assessment for learning.
  8. Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's 'Behaviour for Learning Policy'.
  9. Using a variety of teaching strategies to match approach to content.
  10. Assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and use them to improve specific aspects of teaching.
  11. Mark students' work at least once every two weeks and set targets for progress.
  12. Prepare and present informative reports to parents.
  13. Keep subject knowledge up to date through CPD and professional reading.
  14. Undertake additional duties as required by the Principal or Vice Principal.

Requirements:

  1. Passionate and caring educators.
  2. Bachelor's in Arabic Education or a Bachelor's Degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification with a minimum of 2-year teaching experience in the related field.
  3. Experience of the American curriculum.
  4. A commitment to an extensive enrichment program.
  5. Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  6. Respect for all members of your school community.
  7. A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.
  8. A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
