GSE Technician and operations support

This role functions in the aviation field, working on gas and diesel-powered engines, hydraulic, electric and air brake systems. The GSE (Ground Support Equipment) Technician maintains, tests, inspects, and troubleshoots equipment to keep all equipment working safely and productively. Other duties related to operations support with GSE equipment will occur, such as arranging equipment in the hangar, issuing maintenance plans for the equipment, and performing incoming inspections on received GSE.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all the administrative assignments in a timely manner
  • Manage and maintain all GSE in a safe condition
  • Repair and overhaul, perform troubleshooting on all GSE
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance servicing of all GSE
  • Replenish spares and consumables for GSE, and manage them accordingly
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
  • Keep tools and support equipment in safe and operational working condition
  • Keep work areas clean and free of hazards
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept in good order
  • Take steps to avoid quality control issues

Experience:

  • Associate degrees or certificates in automotive technology or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Required skills:

  • Being orderly is a must
  • UAE Driving license with manual gearbox
  • Technically and mechanically knowledgeable within the field
  • Ability to understand and follow maintenance plans, technical documentation, and other regulations is a must.

Desired skills:

  • AADMIS knowledge is a merit
  • Experience in the aviation field
