We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site hardware installation, IT support, ICT project implementation, and technical coordination in data centers and customer premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Center Operations:

  • Execute on-site hardware installation and configuration of servers and network switches
  • Follow remote supervisor's guidance for technical implementations
  • Perform rack and stack operations in data center environments
  • Conduct basic network configuration and testing

IT Support:

  • Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support for hardware and software issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral device problems
  • Support end-user connectivity and access management
  • Assist with basic system administration tasks
  • Maintain IT inventory and asset management records
  • Handle user account management and access control

ICT Project Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing ICT infrastructure projects
  • Support system migrations and upgrades
  • Participate in network expansion and optimization projects
  • Help configure and deploy enterprise applications
  • Conduct user training sessions for new systems
  • Support cybersecurity implementations and updates

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders
  • Document site progress and prepare status reports
  • Assist in project planning and scheduling
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and team members
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Prepare technical documentation and user guides

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support and data center operations
  • Knowledge of server hardware and network infrastructure
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols and configurations
  • Experience with rack mounting and cable management
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Valid UAE driving license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or similar)
  • Experience with enterprise-level servers and networking equipment
  • Knowledge of data center best practices
  • Basic understanding of ITIL framework
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 25kg
  • Capable of working in data center environments
  • Willing to work flexible hours when required
