The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting modern SAP Fiori applications and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions while contributing to enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Detailed Job Description

The SAP BTP Fiori Developer will play a key role in developing user-centric SAP applications, building and extending SAPUI5 solutions, managing SAP Fiori Launchpad configurations, and deploying applications within SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environments. The role requires strong expertise in SAP Fiori architecture, SAPUI5 development, SAP BTP services, cloud deployment methodologies, and DevOps practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with SAP functional consultants, solution architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP applications. The position offers exposure to modern SAP technologies including SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Build Process Automation, Cloud Foundry services, AppRouter, authentication services, and CI/CD development pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements.
• Develop, customize, and enhance SAPUI5 applications aligned with business requirements.
• Integrate SAP Fiori applications with OData and REST APIs.
• Configure and maintain SAP Fiori Launchpad catalogs, tiles, target mappings, spaces, and pages.
• Manage role-based access controls and user authorizations within SAP Fiori environments.
• Perform Fiori application activation and troubleshoot authorization-related issues.
• Configure and manage AppRouter components and authentication mechanisms.
• Deploy and maintain applications within SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and HTML5 Repository environments.
• Configure, administer, and support SAP Build Work Zone solutions.
• Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated development and deployment processes.
• Manage source code repositories and version control using Git.
• Troubleshoot SAP BTP services, destinations, connectivity configurations, and cloud integration issues.
• Support application lifecycle management, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade SAP solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience developing SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications.
• Strong expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori Freestyle, and Fiori Elements development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern web application development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry architecture and services.
• Experience configuring and administering SAP Fiori Launchpad environments.
• Knowledge of Catalogs, Tiles, Target Mappings, Spaces, and Pages.
• Experience with SAP BTP Destinations and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Hands-on experience with Git repositories and CI/CD implementation.
• Understanding of SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and XSUAA authentication concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within collaborative project teams.

• Experience developing OData V4 services using the SAP CAP Framework.
