Store Manager/ Sales Executive – Jewellery

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager for our premium jewellery retail outlet in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the jewellery industry, a proven track record in retail management, and exceptional customer service and leadership skills. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the brand's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive store sales to achieve and exceed targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, offering personalized services and upselling high-value items.
  3. Ensure exceptional customer experiences by training and mentoring staff on customer service best practices.
  4. Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals to ensure peak performance.
  5. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  6. Handle recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of staff.
  7. Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth functionality.
  8. Manage stock levels, ordering new inventory, and tracking shipments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  9. Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent loss or theft.
  10. Ensure that the store's visual presentation aligns with brand standards and appeals to the target audience.
  11. Coordinate with marketing teams to update displays for promotions, seasons, or events.
  12. Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, including health, safety, and ethical standards.
  13. Maintain high security for all products, especially high-value jewellery pieces, by following strict protocols.
  14. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for senior management.
  15. Manage budgets, reduce operational costs, and maximize profitability.
  16. Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
  17. Stay updated on jewellery trends, customer preferences, and market demands.
  18. Provide insights and recommendations to improve product offerings and customer engagement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
  2. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the jewellery sector in a managerial role.
  3. Excellent knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, gold, and luxury jewellery products.
  4. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
  6. Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
  7. Experience in managing high-end or luxury retail outlets in the UAE is highly desirable.
