About the Role

As a Business Development Manager for Corporates at EaseMyTrip.com, you will be crucial in driving the expansion of our corporate travel solutions. Your role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with corporate clients, and developing tailored travel management strategies to meet the unique needs of businesses. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure that our travel offerings are aligned with market demands and exceed client expectations. This position is vital for increasing our market share in the corporate travel sector and ensuring sustained growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Corporate Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential corporate clients, presenting our travel solutions and securing contracts.
  2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  3. Strategy Development: Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand the corporate client base.
  4. Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth objectives.
  5. Client Needs Analysis: Conduct detailed needs analyses to understand and cater to the specific travel requirements of corporate clients.
  6. Product Customization: Work with the product team to tailor travel packages and services that meet the specific needs of corporate clients.
  7. Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate market shifts and opportunities.
  8. Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and client feedback to inform business strategies.
  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams within the company to ensure a seamless service experience for corporate clients.
  10. Client Retention and Growth: Implement initiatives aimed at client retention and account growth, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  1. Proven Business Development Experience: Extensive experience in business development, preferably in the travel or related industries.
  2. Corporate Sales Expertise: Strong background in managing corporate sales and understanding of corporate travel management.
  3. Strategic Thinking: Ability to formulate and execute business strategies to attract corporate clients and maximize revenue.
  4. Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively negotiate and build relationships with clients.
  5. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing market data and client information to guide business decisions.
  6. Project Management: Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  7. Networking Abilities: Strong networking skills to engage with potential clients and industry stakeholders.
  8. Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on delivering high-quality, tailored solutions that meet the needs of corporate clients.
  9. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; a Master's degree is a plus.
  10. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client demands, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
