Amazon is seeking a business-oriented Program Manager for the Global Engineering Services Program Management Office to support the capacity, capital planning, and project execution for the continued expansion of our AMET (Africa, Middle East, and Turkey) fulfillment network. Successful candidates will have a strong level of ownership and be highly motivated individuals who have Engineering Project/Program Management experience. The role will understand the details of an Amazon Fulfillment Center design, implementation, modeling, estimating, and managing new Fulfillment Center start-ups. This individual will support one or more capital projects. The Program Manager will have a high work capacity while being detail-oriented and agile to manage business changes and keep driving the initiatives. This individual needs to be a strong collaborator with different functional teams and people working across multiple locations.

1. Work with internal Amazon teams and external partners to deliver CAPEX projects and innovations to win business.
2. Be a governance and facilitator that maintains structure, procedures, and standard ways of working that follow a common language for project and program delivery.
3. Develop and implement unified platform tools, information systems, and leverage analytics and data visualization to support reporting and decision-making processes.
4. Develop, evaluate, and simplify current working procedures and improve organization team structure.
5. Create, submit, and track the relevant Capex documentation to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the best overall value.
6. Communicate project status, drive and elevate decision-making, and help requests.
7. Lead critical path schedule items and escalate to leadership on potential risks and delays.
8. Assist in engineering capacity management for AMET.
9. Ability to understand Operational processes.

1. 5+ years of program or project management experience
2. 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3. 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
4. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
5. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
6. Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
7. 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering Operations, Construction management, Business Administration, or a related field

1. 5+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
2. 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
3. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
4. PMP certificate
5. Speak, write and read fluently in either of these preferred languages: German, French, Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Afrikaans, Zulu, and Portuguese.
