WINTER Refrigeration is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Team Lead to join our team in Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working directly with fellow members of the mechanical engineering team, mechanical design team & electrical team for project execution support.
- Engineering tasks including:
- Mechanical Calculations (Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Structural)
- General Arrangement Drawings, P&IDs
- Process/Hydraulic Calculations
- Engineering Evaluations
- Review & preparation of line lists & equipment lists.
- Review of project isometrics to ensure compliance with project requirements set forth by the client.
- Review customer specifications, technical requirements, and project scope for packages and related equipment.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, testing, purchasing, planning, quality, sales, and aftermarket service.
- Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering with a preference in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering design with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new packages.
- Experience must include selecting equipment, piping materials, control philosophy, and preparing supporting calculations and specifications.
- 5+ years of Oil and Gas industry experience.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Equipment and Piping systems.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SolidWorks and other common engineering tools.
- Experience with International Standards such as ASME, PED, API, ASTM etc.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management, clients, and other disciplines.
- Ability to analyze, define, and solve problems.
- Ability to prioritize workflow, multitask, meet deadlines, and remain flexible.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
