POSITION OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our team. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies, conducting risk assessments, and identifying compliance gaps. This role involves handling compliance administrative tasks, monitoring industry regulations, implementing compliance programs, and working cross-functionally to ensure that compliance standards are met at all levels of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and assess the company's adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Manage compliance administrative tasks.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of internal processes to identify compliance risks and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure policies, procedures, and documentation are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compliance training programs for employees.
  • Stay up to date with industry laws, regulations, and standards, and communicate changes to relevant departments.
  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports.
  • Investigate potential compliance violations and work with the legal and management teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of compliance activities, audits, and findings.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions and help implement solutions.
  • Assist in the development of risk management strategies to mitigate compliance risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably in the FINTECH industry.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with compliance management software and auditing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in compliance (e.g., CAMS and CFCS) is a plus.
