Senior Trade Finance Support Officer (UAE National)

Sitting within the Operations department, we are seeking a Trade Finance Support Officer to provide comprehensive back office support to one or two of the following Trade Finance Products (Import & Export LCs, Government LCs, Local and Foreign LGs, Inward & Outward collections)

Accountabilities:
Process claims for payment, checking conformity with related conditions and procedures
Process amendment requests for one or two of Trade Finance products and ensure that its is done in accordance with manual requirements and related international rules and practices
Input transactions data to the Trade Finance automated System
Process settlement for inward collection documents and effect related payment orders
Prepare messages in Swift to the correspondent banks in case of clarification/ratification of irregularities
Prepare and pass reconciling entries according to section head instructions in response to reconciliation inquires received from accounting department

Job Skills

Bachelors degree in commerce or equivalent certificate
2/3 years of Trade Finance related banking experience
Good communication skills in English and Arabic to communicate effectively and both verbally and in writing
Competent in the use of PC Systems and quick understanding of functionality and underlying processes
Strong team player being able to self manages
Organized and able to work with minimum supervision using good business judgment
