Position : Senior Environmental Consultant / Environmental Consultant
Responsibilities
- Conduct Environmental Impact Assessment study, Audit, Environmental Site Assessment, Social Impact Assessment and Environmental Related Studies.
- Candidates must be familiar with Air Dispersion Modeling and Noise Modeling.
- Understand the clients' demands and conduct field and onsite visits as per requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the team of environmental consultants to discuss and resolve environmental issues by ensuring compliance with environmental laws.
- Update management regarding the progress of the project.
- Prepare necessary project documentation and business presentations and proposals as per client's expectations.
- Identify environmental issues and ensure that the client receives all necessary assistance for the formulation and implementation of suggested environmental solutions.
- Liaise with authorities to obtain timely approvals.
- Support in business development.
Expected Skills
- Software Skill (AERMOD, SOUNDPLAN), CORMIX, MIKE - preferable.
- Excellent analytical, written, presentation and communication skills.
- Scientific and numerical skills.
- Ability to think out of the box and suggest remedial solutions that best benefit the client.
- Excellent research skills, goal-oriented, and thorough professional.
- Good IT skills such as word processing with excellent use of spreadsheets and knowledge of various presentation packages.
- Multi-tasking.
- Ability to prioritize work and maintain a positive attitude.
- Project management and business skills.
Educational Requirements
Degree in chemical / environmental / petrochemical engineering. A master's degree is usually preferred.
Experience
8 to 15 years of experience in the Environmental Consultancy field, mainly in Oil & Gas projects.
Nationality: Any Nationality.
