Job Purpose

The Global Head of Business Development will play a critical role in driving sales and revenue growth across FundedNext's brokerage division. This role demands a visionary leader to develop, implement, and optimize sales strategies, ensuring a streamlined and effective approach that aligns with the company's long-term objectives. As a key driver of market expansion and business development, the Global Head of Business Development will be instrumental in positioning FundedNext & its brokerage division as leaders in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to expand the broker's presence in existing and new markets.
  2. Identify emerging trends and opportunities in CFD trading, including new products (e.g., crypto CFDs, indices, commodities) and client segments (retail, institutional).
  3. Oversee the establishment of local offices or partnerships in key regions, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and cultural nuances.
  4. Drive market-entry strategies by coordinating with legal, compliance, marketing, and operations teams.

Forecasting and Budgeting

  1. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to senior management, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
  2. Accurately forecast sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
  3. Manage the sales team's budget effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.

Team Leadership and Development

  1. Recruit, train, and lead a global sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
  2. Set clear performance objectives, track progress, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to maximize team performance.
  3. Establish and monitor sales KPIs to ensure accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

Global Expansion

  1. Expand the company's global strategic partnership network to drive new client acquisition.
  2. Establish and oversee regional sales teams in key markets (e.g., Asia, EMEA), ensuring their growth and development.
  3. Expand and maintain a robust network of partnerships that drive client acquisition and market penetration.

Brand Promotion

  1. Plan, organize, and participate in global financial events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the company.
  2. Identify strategic sponsorship opportunities to boost the company's brand visibility in key markets.
  3. Work closely with the marketing team to develop branding strategies that support sales initiatives.

Key Requirements

Experience & Knowledge

  1. Proven experience in senior business development roles within the financial services industry, with a demonstrated track record in CFD trading and brokerage, preferably with prior experience in a similar global organization.
  2. Proven track record in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading high-performing sales teams across multiple geographies.
  3. Expertise in sales forecasting, budgeting, and strategic market analysis.
  4. Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations for global financial markets.
  5. Strong network of industry contacts and experience in partnership development.
  6. Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead and inspire global teams while ensuring accountability and results.
  7. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills to identify opportunities and execute growth initiatives.
  8. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
