About the roleWe are on the lookout for a passionate Revenue Management professional who can drive revenue management for our Rooms division within our Atlantis the Palm & Atlantis the Royal properties. As a Manager, Revenue – Rooms, you will fully utilise available tools and systems to maximise all revenue streams, and apply all facets of pricing, demand analysis, selling strategies and tactics in accordance with worldwide best practices. You will conduct and implement revenue management strategies throughout the properties to identify all opportunities to find the right price for the right customer, at the right time, with a focus on increasing revenues.
A large part of this role will be developing competitive research and conducting industry benchmarks to provide background information for the entire pricing strategy and ensure available technology (PMS & KCRS/E-channels and GDS) is fully utilised and understood according to property specific business mix and requirements. You will ensure optimal use, and measure performance on all distribution channels, to ensure that fair market share is achieved if not surpassed, e.g., Atlantis.com, GDS, and e-channels, and assist the sales & marketing team in devising marketing campaigns, to ensure that the hotel reaches the right people, at the right time, in the right place.
About youThe successful Revenue Manager – Rooms candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar manager level role, and ideally come from a 5* hospitality background. It will also be advantageous if you have a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or a related field, as well as strong analytical skills and advanced computer skills (Excel, PMS, CRS, Web).
You will also have strong leadership skills and have experience managing a small team, having demonstrable experience guiding a team and being able to motivate them to achieve their goals and fulfil their responsibilities.
