Job Overview

AtkinsRalis is currently looking for a highly experienced professional involved in the maintenance of assets. The candidate should have worked in a similar role as a Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record of working in critical government infrastructure projects, preferably in transportation projects. Prior experience working under a Project Management Consultant (PMC) setup to oversee the works of the Design & Build (D&B) contractors will be a clear plus as this is the current setup where the staff will work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major metro rail project, ensuring the effective management of the assets. Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans for the metro rail project.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all project-related equipment and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of the metro rail systems.
• Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure maintenance considerations are integrated into the project design and construction phases.
• Manage and supervise maintenance teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules ensuring timely and efficient completion of all maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present maintenance reports and updates to project stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant maintenance regulations and standards.
• Provide training and support to project staff on maintenance best practices and procedures.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with experience in Asset Maintenance.

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in physical security engineering, preferably in rail/metro or strategic government assets projects.
• Proven experience in managing maintenance for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, technologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• UAE project experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to join quickly is preferred.
