RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for maintaining positive customer relationship, fostering and enhancing relationship management with open, honest and effective communications.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities collaboratively with the G&D function that are considered transformative or multi-disciplinary projects, that involve two or more Wood service lines.
  • Develops and delivers robust win plans, whilst driving and supporting corporate initiatives, ensuring company values are at the core of all activities.
  • Develop and implement a focused win strategy, support bid and tender activity as required and assume responsibility for positioning and new growth opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs beyond the immediate scope and introducing other Wood Service Lines to the Customer to grow the overall scope for Wood and add value to the Customer / Asset.
  • When in delivery mode, you will typically lead a client project team of 5-8 business, digital and deep domain experts focusing on rapid and sustained value delivery in maintenance, production, reliability, inventory / spares, and emissions.
  • You will have the opportunity to build on your proven leadership skills and leverage your interest in inspiring others, building strong relationships, and creating true followership. In a collaborative team setting, you'll work closely with others but also autonomously with little direction. Your superior analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills will ensure successful client projects and team performance.
  • You will lead the day-to-day execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members. You will work directly with clients, and you'll take ownership of the overall project and its end products. You will make an important contribution to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
  • Client project work typically includes gathering and analysing information, formulating, and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for presentation to client management. From there, you will implement those recommendations with client team members.
  • Is a champion and role model for ethical behaviour and compliance with applicable laws and policies.
  • Oversees proposals and call-offs within delegation of authority, ensuring compliance with contracting policy and standards of ethical conduct.
  • Acting as a coach / mentor and encouraging and supporting open and effective communication to optimise delivery of objectives, maximise team performance and achieve continuous performance improvement.
  • Represents the organization externally at technical conferences and other public events.

Expected :

  • 15+ years of highly relevant experience in the energy and materials sectors, preferably including 3+ years in a leadership role within the business.
  • Extensive experience and accomplishments resulting in recognition as a technical expert in one or more of the key asset integrity specialist disciplines.
  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Scientific Discipline, or related technical field OR degree qualified in a commercial / business discipline with significant experience in a technical organisation.
  • Deep expertise in the industries as well as solid functional knowledge including but not limited to digital transformation, strategy, business development, energy, supply chain, project management, marketing, and sales.
  • Commercially astute, you are a savvy negotiator and mediator, capable of engendering an entrepreneurial spirit of cooperation and energizing diverse teams to adopt best practice, while driving optimal performance with safety at the heart of everything we do.
  • Ability to take initiative, break new ground, create opportunities for others.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous consulting experience is advantageous.
  • Advanced Degree qualification i.e. PhD and / or MBA.
  • Technical proficiency in Arabic language.
