The Opportunity

We are looking for a Visual Merchandising Executive to join our Travel Retail Middle East team on a contractual basis. This role requires a design background and hands-on experience in managing temporary animation projects, in-store visual merchandising, and POSM execution.

You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of visual merchandising projects—from technical drawings and material selection to installation and maintenance—for Puig brands at the airport points of sale, including Carolina Herrera, Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Penhaligon's, L'Artisan Parfumeur, Byredo, and more. You will work closely with the marketing and commercial teams, and brand partners to ensure activations, podiums, and pop-ups are implemented efficiently and in line with brand guidelines.

What you'll get to do
  • Manage and implement temporary animation projects from design to installations.
  • Order brand content visuals, build & update visual/screens database across the regions liaising with commercial and marketing teams to align on launch timelines.
  • Build POSM tracker for all novelty deco updates on permanent stands.
  • Develop planograms adapted to the doors classifications, best sellers & latest novelties.
  • Build a maintenance tracker and follow ups to maintain good condition of the permanent & temporary stands.
  • Build storage tracker for furniture to optimize re-use of elements/furniture across several implementations.
  • Implement and adapt VM guidelines and strategy in line with the brand image and execute retail excellence.
  • Manage local production of regional display materials as per brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate activities with marketing teams on major activations such as podiums & pop-ups for full customer experience.
  • Assist major installations for VM & POSM displays.
  • Keep track of all POSM orders & splits.
  • Build & track picture reports of all POS updates along with animations.
  • Build good relationships with cross-functional teams, global brand teams, and external suppliers.
We'd love to meet you if you have
  • Design & technical skills with an understanding of layout planning and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Attention to detail – ensuring high-quality execution of installations and maintenance of visual elements at the point of sale.
  • Stakeholder collaboration - working cross-functionally with marketing, commercial teams, and external vendors to coordinate installations and activations.
  • Understanding of luxury and beauty brands, retail environments, and travel retail dynamics is an advantage.
  • Problem-solving & adaptability – ability to anticipate challenges, troubleshoot on-site, and adapt to changing project requirements.
