About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Security - Team Leader to join our Security Team in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort.
About the Role:
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- To ensure continual "on the job training" is carried out with all Security Officers assigned to the team and the relevant documentation is complete.
- To conduct regular training sessions for the security officers in the hotel.
- To ensure the maintenance of all relevant registers.
- Is responsible for reporting any incidents or issues that can affect fire, life or safety of the Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort guests or colleagues or any hotel property.
- Is responsible for protecting the property, people, image, information and operational capability of Jumeirah International as laid down by the policies and procedures.
- Security Team Leader is responsible to prepare all logs which will go to the Director of Security including General Manager and relevant departments.
- Whilst on duty Team Leader is responsible for the monitoring of the C.C.T.V. system, fire alarm panel, panic alarm system, emergency telephone, Elevator system, handling telephones, maintaining files, and cleanliness of the office.
- Team Leader is also responsible for monitoring/checking all contractors log, visitor log, key register, Master card in/out, operation of the X-ray machine and Property Removal Authorization logs/forms at Security time office.
- Team Leader must carry out random security post checks within minimum every 02 Hours.
- Team Leader himself and with assistance of Patrolling officer is responsible for checking all fire and safety key points as highlighted in the patrol checklist, reporting any other issues such as breakages, and reacting to any fire alarms or emergencies immediately.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a similar role.
- High School Graduate.
- First Aid Qualification.
