JobSummary:

We are seeking anenthusiastic and dedicated Math Teacher to joinone of our clients (a reputable school) in Abu Dhabi. As a MathTeacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality engagingmath instruction to students while fostering their academic socialand emotional growth. You will create a dynamic learningenvironment that encourages student participation and fosters alove for mathematics. The role includes lesson planning progressmonitoring and collaborating with staff and parents to ensurestudent success.

KeyResponsibilities:
ClassroomManagement:
  • Createa Positive LearningEnvironment:
    Developand maintain a classroom culture where students feel valuedrespected and motivated to learn. Establish clear classroom rulesthat encourage active participation and academicsuccess.
  • BehaviorManagement:
    Set clearexpectations for student behavior maintaining a structured anddisciplined classroom environment. Address any behavioral issuespromptly and fairly to maintain focus onlearning.
  • StudentSupervision:
    Monitorstudents behavior during lessons breaks and school events ensuringtheir safety and wellbeing at alltimes.
Instructionand CurriculumDelivery:
  • LessonPlanning andImplementation:
    Planand deliver engaging curriculumaligned math lessons ensuring aclear progression of concepts that are relevant and challenging forstudents. Utilize diverse teaching methods to meet the needs of alllearners.
  • DifferentiatedInstruction:
    Adaptteaching strategies and materials to meet the individual needs ofstudents including those with special educational needs or varyinglearningabilities.
  • Assessmentand Evaluation:
    Designand administer both formative and summative assessments to evaluatestudent progress. Provide constructive feedback and use assessmentdata to inform instructionalpractices.
  • TechnologyIntegration:
    Usetechnology tools and digital resources to enhance lessons andengage students in interactive mathactivities.
StudentDevelopment andSupport:
  • AcademicSupport:
    Identifystudents who need additional academic support and provide tailoredassistance. Work with support staff to address learning challengesand ensure students academic needs aremet.
  • SocialEmotionalLearning:
    Fosterstudents socialemotional development by encouraging positiverelationships selfregulation empathy and conflictresolution.
  • MonitorProgress:
    Track anddocument students academic and behavioral progress providingfeedback to both students and parents and developing action plansfor improvement wherenecessary.
CommunicationandCollaboration:
  • Parent/GuardianCommunication:
    Maintainregular communication with parents and guardians to inform them oftheir child s academic progress behavior and any concerns.Participate in parentteacher conferences and address queriespromptly.
  • Collaborationwith Staff:
    Workcollaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to ensure anintegrated approach to student development and school initiatives.Participate in regular staff meetings and schoolactivities.
  • Documentationand Reporting:
    Keepaccurate records of student attendance grades assessments and anyincidents. Submit required reports and documentation to schooladministration in a timelymanner.

SkillsandQualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Mathematics Education or a relatedfield.
    • Validteaching certification (specific to the region or country) withADEK approvalpreferred.

  • Experience:

    • Musthave 1 to 3 years experience as a Math Teacher or in a similarteaching role preferably in middle or highschool.
    • Strongknowledge of the mathematics curriculum and relevant teachingmethodologies.

  • ClassroomManagement:

    • Effectiveclassroom management skills to maintain a focused positive anddisciplined learningenvironment.

  • Communication:

    • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills to interact effectivelywith students parents andcolleagues.

  • Adaptability:

    • Abilityto adjust teaching approaches based on student needs and classroomdynamics.

  • TechnologySkills:

    • Proficiencywith educational technology tools such as learning managementsystems digital resources and interactive teachingplatforms.

WorkingConditions:
  • WorkHours:
    Fulltimeposition typically Monday to Friday e.g. 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM withoccasional evenings for parentteacher conferences or schoolevents.
