Yearonyear as we continue to grow we need towork as smart as we can to keep all our team members safe fulfilledmotivated and empowered. To help us achieve this were seeking adriven WHS Officer. With your Bias for Action well need you to stepin and help drive health and safety across our delivery stations inAbu Dhabi / Dubai.

In this crucial WHSposition youll report to the Country WHS Manager.
  • Lead site risk assessmentsfor current and new activities.
  • Establish siteWHS training matrix.
  • Lead implementation ofsite specific WHS standards andguidelines.
  • Lead implementation of site WHSobjective and programs.
  • Promote safe cultureamong employees by providing daily WHS content to shiftbriefing/standup meeting.
  • Perform frequent sitesafety audits to identify all noncompliance equipment and/orprocesses at the site. Work with Operations team to implementsolutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and preventinjury.
  • Conduct daily and weekly WHS auditssuch as GEMBA walks area audits vehicle and driver inspectionsetc.
  • Attending to incidents and occupationalinjury cases on site.
  • Guide and assist areamanagers on incident investigations Gensuite write up andcommunication of lesson learned.
  • Assisting Opsteam in Gensuite follow up sheet and CAPA creation. Auditrecordkeeping practices and ensure Gensuite entries to be alignedwith global WHS standards and localregulations.
  • Ensure the PPE inventory at siteand coordinate with procurement for orderplacement.
  • Ensure basic fire fighting trainingand first aid training completion.
  • Completedaily Trailer Dock Release (TDR) inspections andcommunications.
  • Daily Action Tracking Systemmonitoring closeout and support.
  • Participate insite management safety walk provide insight into unsafe acts andconditions to management.
  • Provide daily updateto Country WHS Manager on objectives progress incidents AOs ATSnetwork actions etc).
  • Preparation of WHScommittee meeting agenda MOM write up ATScreation.
  • Daily Permit to Work review and signoff working with the operational and facilitiesteam.
  • Lead on WHS related procurement andfollow up on site.
  • Preparing risk assessmentsand emergency response plans.
  • Managingpreparation and completion of emergency drills medievac drills andpreparing drill records.
  • Heat Indexestablishment monitoring and support.
  • Providesupport to site specific requests unplanned events andactivities.
  • On the Roadexperience
  • Excellent with computers and dataanalysis
  • Strong communication teamwork analysisjudgment and customer focus skills
  • Ability toadapt well to fastpaced environments with changing circumstancesdirection and strategy.
  • Experience workingwithin a team
  • Ability to analyze accident datanew processes and machinery for potential safety concerns andconduct job hazard and job safetyanalyses
  • Experienced in emergency response andcurrently holds First aid and CPRcertificates
  • Analyzing and manipulatingdata
  • Passion forsafety
  • Bachelors degree in occupational healthand safety or Engineering/Science bachelordegree
