RolePurpose:

TheAutomobile Transport Supervisor is responsiblefor German Cars overseeing the transportation maintenance andrepair of vehicles including managing mechanics electricians anddiagnostic technicians. This role ensures the smooth and safetransportation of vehicles while supervising the maintenance andrepair activities to ensure all vehicles are in optimal conditionbefore and aftertransport.


RequiredSkills:
  • Thecandidate should know how to use diagnostic tools(scanner).
  • Theability to diagnose all minor and major issues on all kinds ofvehicles (engine transmission suspensionetc).
  • Mustknow how to work on all types of cars including German American andEuropeancars.
  • Candidateshould have minimum 3 to 5 Years of Experience inUAE.
  • HighSchool diploma or theequivalent.
  • Abilityto read and comprehend instructions andinformation.
  • Generalmechanicalskills.
KeyResponsibilities:
VehicleTransportManagement:
  • Superviseand coordinate all activities related to the safe loading unloadingand transportation of vehicles to ensure minimal damage and timelydelivery.
  • Ensure proper inspectionand documentation of vehicles before during and after transportincluding noting any existing damage and assessing the condition ofvehicles.
  • Oversee vehicle schedulingroute planning and coordination to optimize vehicle transportefficiency.
  • Manage and supervise carcarriers transport trucks and other equipment used for vehicletransportation ensuring all vehicles are safely secured duringtransit.
Mechanicsand ElectricalSupervision:
  • Supervisea team of mechanics responsible for performingrepairs servicing and preventative maintenance ofvehicles.
  • Ensure allmechanical systems such as engines transmissionsbrakes suspension and exhaust systems are functioning properlybefore vehicles aretransported.
  • Overseeelectrical systems inspections and repairsincluding battery maintenance alternators wiring lighting systemsand diagnostic checks.
  • Ensure thatall vehicle systems including both mechanical and electrical meetsafety standards beforedispatch.
DiagnosticOversight:
  • Supervisethe team responsible for vehicle computerdiagnostics ensuring the accurate identification andtroubleshooting of engine control systems transmission systems ABSairbags and other computercontrolled vehiclesystems.
  • Use specialized diagnostictools to assess vehicle issues related to electrical componentssensor malfunctions or other computercontrolledfailures.
  • Oversee the installationor upgrading of electronic components and troubleshoot electricalfaults using appropriateequipment.
  • Ensure accurate andtimely recording of diagnostic reports for all vehicles withdetailed descriptions of any repairsmade.
Maintenanceand RepairManagement:
  • Ensurethat routine vehicle maintenance (oil changesfluid checks brake inspections tire rotations etc.) is carried outefficiently and on time for all vehicles in thefleet.
  • Supervise major repair workon vehicles including engine overhauls transmission rebuilds andsuspension repairs.
  • Oversee thereplacement of wornout parts (spark plugs batteries belts filtersetc.) and manage inventory control of repair parts andtools.
SafetyandCompliance:
  • Enforcestrict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to preventaccidents and damage during vehicle transport repair andmaintenance activities.
  • Ensure allvehicles meet local regulations andsafety standards for roadworthiness beforedeparture.
  • Ensure compliance withenvironmental standards for the disposal of vehicle waste fluidsand parts.
TeamLeadership &Training:
  • Leadand manage a team of mechanics electricians and diagnostictechnicians providing guidance training and support asneeded.
  • Conduct regular teammeetings to discuss operational goals safety procedures and anyissues or challenges.
  • Train teammembers on the latest automotive technologies and diagnosticequipment ensuring they stay up to date with industryadvancements.
CustomerCommunication andDocumentation:
  • Actas the point of contact for clients ensuring effectivecommunication and resolving any concerns related to thetransportation maintenance or repair of theirvehicles.
  • Provide cost estimates forrepairs maintenance and transport services ensuring transparencywith customers.
  • Maintain detailedrecords of all services performed vehicle maintenance logstransport schedules and safetyinspections.
Inventoryand EquipmentManagement:
  • Overseethe inventory management of automotive tools parts and diagnosticequipment ensuring proper maintenance and timely replacement ofitems.
  • Ensure that all vehicles areequipped with the necessary tools for minor repairs duringtransportation (ifapplicable).

Experience:
  • 5years of experience in automotive repair vehicle transportation orlogistics.
  • Previous supervisory orleadership experience in an automotive or vehicle transportenvironment.
  • Extensive experienceworking with mechanical electrical and computer diagnostic systemsinvehicles.

Qualifications&Requirements:
  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent; a certification in automotivetechnology or related fields ispreferred.
  • Certifications:
    • ASECertification or similar automotive repair certifications arepreferred.
    • Any relevantcertifications related to vehicle diagnostics electrical systems ortransportlogistics.
Skills:
  • Strongknowledge of vehicle systems including mechanical electrical anddiagnostic components.
  • Proficiencyin diagnostic tools and automotive repairequipment.
  • Excellent organizationalskills to manage multiple transport schedules repair tasks andinventory control.
  • Strong leadershipand team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide adiverse team.
  • Strong problemsolvingskills and attention to detail to effectively manage repairs andvehicle inspections.
  • Ability toeffectively communicate with customers team members andmanagement.
PhysicalRequirements:
  • Abilityto lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) kneel bend and work intight spaces.
  • Comfortable working invarying environments including both indoor and outdoorsettings.
