Overview: We are seeking ahighly skilled and visionary Lead Product Designer to join ourinnovative team at Inception in Abu Dhabi. As a lead you will takecharge of the design process from conceptualization to deliverysetting the standard for design excellence across our products.Working closely with crossfunctional teams you will ensure that ourdesigns not only meet user needs but also push the boundaries ofcreativity and usability. This role requires a strategic thinkerwho can inspire and guide a team collaborating closely withengineering product and business teams to create impactfulusercentered solutions.
Inceptionis the UAEs nationalscale enabler in AI Research and Development.Partnering with Microsofts AI SaaS we offer domainspecific AgenticAI Orchestrator platform utilizing reasoning agents for precise andcosteffective services. Our focus includes AI incubation IPcreation applied AI R&D and AI investment products. Bycreating models tailored to specific domains and languages weensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with topuniversities and industry giants to drive significant advancementsin AI technology within the region. Responsibilities:
  • Design Leadership: Drive the endtoend designprocess from user research to final implementation while ensuringconsistency and excellence in every aspect of the userexperience.
  • UserCentric Approach: Translatebusiness goals and user needs into functional engaging andaesthetically appealing designsolutions.
  • Collaboration and Strategy:Collaborate with product managers engineers and stakeholders todefine and align on the product vision goals androadmap.
  • Team Development and Mentorship: Leadmentor and inspire a team of designers fostering an environmentthat promotes creativity andinnovation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as adesign advocate within the organization conducting design critiqueschampioning design thinking and promoting usercentredpractices.
  • Research and Testing: Conduct userresearch usability testing and A/B testing; analyze findings toderive actionable insights that inform product strategy and designdecisions.
  • Prototyping and Iteration: Createinteractive prototypes to gather user feedback iterate based onresults and ensure a refined userfriendlyexperience.
  • Design Systems and Standards:Develop contribute to and maintain a scalable design system thatensures efficiency consistency and quality acrossplatforms.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay currentwith design trends tools and technologies and propose newinnovations to keep the product experience ahead of thecurve.
Qualifications: Skills andattributes for success
  • TechnicalProficiency: Expertise in design tools (Figma Sketch Adobe XDInVision) vector design and image editing tools (Adobe IllustratorPhotoshop).
  • Advanced UX/UI Design Knowledge:Strong understanding of UX/UI principles wireframing storyboardingand prototyping.
  • CrossPlatform Design:Experience designing for web and mobile platforms (iOS Android)with a focus on responsive and adaptivedesign.
  • Design System Expertise: Knowledge ofmaintaining and scaling designsystems.
  • Research and Analytics: Proficiency inuser research usability testing A/B testing and using data toinform design decisions.
  • Leadership Skills:Proven experience in leading design teams providing constructivefeedback and cultivating a collaborative designculture.
  • Collaboration and Communication:Strong crossfunctional collaboration abilities with developersproduct managers and executivestakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to aligndesign work with business goals and contribute to productstrategy.
  • ProblemSolving: Excellentproblemsolving skills critical thinking andadaptability.
  • Agility: Familiarity with agilemethodologies sprintbased work and managing multipleprojects.
  • Technical Understanding: Basicknowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript is aplus.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelors or Masters degree inDesign HumanComputer Interaction (HCI) or a relatedfield.
  • 7 years of experience in UX/UI designwith at least 3 years in a lead or seniorrole.
  • A track record of successful productlaunches with a focus on highquality design and userexperience.
