We are looking for a Contract Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: UAE with Missions to Iraq
Start Date: June 2025
Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable
Scheme: Residential
Qualification and Experience Required: Professional Experience- Minimum 10 years in project control roles in Oil and Gas projects.
- At least 5 years in a Contract Engineer position.
- Expertise in Contracts-Purchases, Legal environment, SAP/UNISUP, Insurance, Taxation and Safety-Environment.
- Strong analytical skills for contractual aspects and claim management.
- Knowledge of risk management practices and earned value management techniques.
- Degree in Engineering or Law.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Assist EIW & NWP Project Control Lead in the development of the various contractual strategies.
- Ensure regular reporting of activities to the Project Control Lead.
- Develop and maintain contractual requirements to monitor progress execution.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of contractual aspects.
- Provide oversight and guidance on contractual tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture by ensuring that all contractual items are performed safely and in compliance with the company's HSE standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of project contractual items to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure the administration of current contracts, including interfaces with technical teams.
- Support the preparation of contractual claims and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with the rules established by the company & the Project relating to contractual procedures.
