Overallresponsibilities:

  • Workclosely with Lead Construction / Civil Engineer on assigned projectspecifically for Civil SOW but not limited to interface andcoordination with subcontractors andCOMPANY.
  • Liaison with COMPANY / EPCM personnelfor engineering related matters construction subcontractors andprojects teams for various technical issues including sitevisits.
  • Supervise and monitor the performanceof civil subcontractors review & comment on drawings /deliverables oversee and coordinate with internal team and clientpersonnel for submission of engineering deliverables coordinate andresolve technical issues.
  • Provide guidance anddirection to other multidisciplinary team members for assignedproject.
  • Assure compliance with engineeringprocedures and quality control & HSEstandards.
  • Supporting construction andcommissioning activities after completion of project home officetasks.

 Day todayresponsibilities:

  • Superviseperformance of Civil subcontractors and predominantly forelectrical trenches supports excavation including general executionmanagement of civil subcontractor schedule / key executionmilestones budget and manpower.
  • Proactivelyanalyze engineering related issues and recommend correctiveactions.
  • Prepare field technical proposalsqueries changes requests etc.
  • Assist Projectteam in preparation of design proposals and providing alternateapproach.
  • Carry out design content reviewsdrawings including buildability reviews & optionanalysis.
  • Review shop drawings fieldcalculations and dealing with queries submitted bysubcontractors.
  • Review method statementsmaterial approval requests and other supporting documents bysubcontractor
  • Support and liaise with otherstaff in the procurement of materials.
  • Assistproject team with establishment of project plans schedules andbudgets.
  • Participate in site visits as requiredfor site surveying and gathering data and important informationrequired to project team.
  • Participate indevelopment of estimates for engineering works andreviews.
  • Interface with various engineeringdisciplines and suppliers.
  • Plan coordinate andprepare Material Requisitions Technical Bid Evaluations and awardrecommendations for various equipment with alldisciplines.

Qualifications:

  • MinimumBachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structural) with(10 Years minimum) in the Oil & Gas industry.Affinity and familiar with Engineering Procurement and Contractingaspects in the business both onshore andoffshore.

Skills &ProfessionalRequirements:

  • Provenproject management experience as well as a good understanding ofbusiness issues.
  • Good level of experience inthe related field industry and locations of the work in UAE withADNOC Group.
  • Have worked as a Lead Engineer(Engineering) in related projects.
  • Experienceworking on ADNOC brownfield projects ispreferred.
  • Good knowledge and experience inproject monitoring and forecasting
  • Ability tomanage change control process on project with subcontractors andinterfaces (if any).
  • Indepth knowledge of alltypes of project information (deliverables) and its uses andcapable of managing information management projectteam
  • Good knowledge of all handover andcloseout activities required for client andsuppliers.

ExperienceRequirements:

  • Experiencelevel: 10 years
  • 10 years or moreexperience UAE or Middle East
  • Minimum 05 yearsas Lead Engineer on medium to large scale projects in similarbusiness or industry
  • Experience on preparationof MTO review of other discipline vendor data contractorsubmittals 
  • Familiarity withapplicable codes standards and regulations used in MiddleEast.
  • HSE compliance and ability to work inmultidisciplinaryteams
