AtkinsRealisa leading global design engineering and project managementconsultancy is looking for a skilled and experienced Land Surveyorto join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will beresponsible for performing a variety of surveying duties onconstruction sites to ensure that projects are completed incompliance with legal requirements project specifications andqualitystandards.

JobDescription:

AtkinsRealis isseeking a skilled and experienced InspectorArchitectural (SiteOperations) to join our dynamic team in the UAE.This role is based onsite and will focus on ensuring the higheststandards of architectural quality and integrity in the executionof our projects particularly in highrise buildings (30 floors). Asan integral member of the project team the ideal candidate willhave a strong architectural background with significant expertisein interior design and fitout works.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • SiteInspection & Supervision: Conduct detailedsite inspections and monitor architectural works to ensurecompliance with project specifications quality standards and safetyregulations.
  • QualityControl: Oversee the quality of interior design andfitout works ensuring that all aspects meet the projectrequirements and comply with localregulations.
  • Coordination withStakeholders: Liaise with contractors engineersproject managers and other stakeholders to resolve any onsiteissues related to architectural design orfitouts.
  • Documentation:Review and maintain all project documentation including reportsinspection records nonconformance reports (NCRs) and othersiterelateddocuments.
  • Compliance:Ensure all works conform to the approved drawings specificationsand applicable local standards. Monitor and enforce building codesand safety regulations.
  • ReviewingProgress: Regularly assess the progress of theproject track milestones and report any delays or discrepancies tothe project manager.
  • Health andSafety: Ensure adherence to health safety andenvironmental regulationsonsite.
  • DesignCoordination: Collaborate with the design team toaddress any design issues that arise during the construction orfitout phases ensuring alignment between the architectural designintent and the finalproduct.
KeyQualifications:
  • Education:Bachelors degree in Architecture(mandatory).
  • Experience:710 years of relevant experience inarchitectural inspection with a focus on highrisebuildings (30 floors) and interiordesign/fitoutworks.
  • SpecializedSkills: Indepth knowledge of interior fitout worksarchitectural design and construction processes. Familiarity withthe unique challenges of highriseconstruction.
  • Proven HighRiseExperience: Handson experience in inspecting andsupervising the construction of highrise buildings particularlythose involving complex interior design and fitouttasks.
  • Knowledge ofRegulations: Strong understanding of local buildingcodes regulations and international standards relevant toarchitecture andconstruction.
  • SoftwareProficiency: Proficient in architectural designsoftware (AutoCAD Revit etc.) and Microsoft OfficeSuite.
  • ProblemSolving:Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to handle onsitechallenges effectively.
  • Attentionto Detail: High level of accuracy and attention todetail in inspections anddocumentation.
  • CommunicationSkills: Strong communication skills with the abilityto liaise effectively with all levels ofstakeholders.
