Reporting directly to theProject Manager you will be responsible for supervising andcoordinating all Project Controls activities either performeddirectly or through subcontractors to ensure that the works arecarried out in accordance with the construction schedule withinbudget and project qualityrequirements.

What you will need todo: 

  • Assignresponsibilities within your team so as to ensure the best possibledelivery
  • Ensure proper scope management of theproject in cooperation with the Project Manager Operations ControlsManager and Contract Manager
  • Establish andmaintain a valid detailed and resourceloaded project schedule incooperation with the other project department heads the projectmanager and the respective division team. Monitor the progress ofthe works (including the one of subcontractors) identifying andcommunicating areas of concern and proposing mitigationplans
  • Ensure the data collecting system forplanning invoicing controlling and reporting; prepare thecontractually foreseen reports as well as the Companys internalproject control reports as per Companysprocedures
  • Establish the invoicing procedureand supervise its properimplementation.
  • Establish the cost controlsystem in cooperation with the Commercial Manager as per Companysprocedures and supervise its proper application; ensure the smoothcooperation with all the sections of theProject
  • Ensure proper control over the Projectperformance compared to the tender and/orbudget
  • Ensure proper control of subcontractorsinvoices
  • Actively support building andmaintaining positive customer relationships with Employers andEngineers representatives 
  • Ensurepeople are being trained and developed and prevent work relatedconflicts 
  • Identify problem areas andpromote correctiveactions. 
  • Continuously improve theperformance of company operations.
  • Assess risksto maintain the risk profile within setlimits

What you willneed to have:

  • University degree inEngineering
  • At least 15 years relevantexperience including 5 years management experience in constructionindustry at similar level
  • Experience in EPCProjects above US$ 100M with ADNOC (or equivalent) is essentialwith involvement in all project phases (Engineering Procurement& Construction)
  • Previous employmentwith leading EPC contractors is highlypreferable
  • Capability to perform understressful situations
  • Substantial costestimation cost control planning risk management and contractualknowledge
  • Engineering procurement constructionprecommissioning and commissioningawareness
  • Fluency in the Englishlanguage.
  • Knowledge of project management toolsand basic financialconcepts
