PositionSummary

We are seeking anexperienced and detailoriented PMCMechanical Lead Engineer to oversee andmanage mechanical engineering activities for a highprofile Oil& Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. TheMechanical Lead Engineer will ensure that all mechanical designsinstallations and operations comply with project specificationsinternational standards and safety regulations. This role requirestechnical expertise leadership skills and extensive experience inmechanical engineering for largescaleprojects.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Leadand manage all mechanical engineering activities ensuring designsand deliverables comply with project requirements and internationalstandards.
  • Develop review and approvemechanical design documentation including equipment specificationsdata sheets and technical reports.
  • Oversee theselection evaluation and procurement of mechanical equipment toensure suitability for the project.
  • Providetechnical input and solutions to resolve mechanical design andinstallation challenges.
  • Coordinate withmultidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of mechanical systemsinto the overall project design.
  • Monitorcontractor and subcontractor performance to ensure compliance withproject specifications and timelines.
  • Supportthe resolution of technical queries (TQ) and manage changes tomechanical designs as required.
  • Conduct sitevisits and inspections to ensure mechanical installations meetdesign intent and safety requirements.
  • Ensurecompliance with HSE standards and regulations in all mechanicalengineering activities.
  • Mentor and guide juniorengineers promoting technical excellence and professionalgrowth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Experience:
    • 1215years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on Oil& Gas or largescale pipeline constructionprojects.
    • Proven experience in a PMCenvironment is highlydesirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiencyin mechanical design software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorksCAESAR II).
    • Strong knowledge of internationalcodes and standards related to mechanical engineering (e.g. ASMEAPI ISO).
    • Excellent problemsolving anddecisionmaking skills.
    • Strong leadership andcommunication skills for effective team management and stakeholderengagement.
    • Ability to manage multiplepriorities effectively in a fastpaced projectenvironment.
