The ideal candidate will play a key role inthe design analysis and implementation of blast resistant and nonblast resistant steel structures. Structural Engineer willcollaborate with other dependent disciplines ensuring thestructural integrity and safety of various construction projects .This position requires a strong foundation in structuralengineering principles structural analysis methods and excellentproblemsolving skills.

  1. Responsibilities and Duties
  2. Perform structural analysis anddesign for a variety of projects undertaken by Hunter. Analysisshall include but not limited to Static Analysis Dynamic analysisBlast analysis (SDOF & MDOF) Transportation Analysis LiftingAnalysis Connections designs etc.
  3. Carry outstructural static and dynamic analysis for various kinds ofstructures including buildings using industrystandard software andtools.
  4. Preparation of Detailed Engineeringdeliverables related to offshore /Onshore /Industrial /renewableStructures. Primary experience in Oil and Gas Petrochemical andRefinery sectors including onshore andoffshore.
  5. High degree of proficiency in the useof Structural Analysis and Design Softwares such as SACS STAAD Proetc. and finite element analysis softwares such as ANSYS or ABAQUS.
  6. Experience in the design and execution ofprojects for both Offshore and Onshore fields. Good knowledge ofStructural / Civil materials ofconstruction.
  7. Facilitate the Engineeringsolutions or inputs for overall costoptimization.

  9. Capable of reading the Contractspecification in a wholesome manner and supporting the BusinessUnit / Project team for enabling optimization variations andcontractual claims.
  10. Coordinate withproject/manufacturing team and ensure smooth work execution of theworks.
  11. Provide technical support during theconstruction phase addressing any structural issues and ensuringadherence to design specifications.
  12. Proactiveinteraction within various engineering disciplines to ensure propercoordination between the engineering deliverables.
  13. Collaborate with architects contractors andother professionals to ensure seamless integration of structuralelements into overall project design.
  14. Review ofthe engineering drawings prepared both in house and bysubcontractors and ensuring compliance with relevant standards andcodes on general engineering practices without compromising onquality.
  15. Review and analyze projectdocumentation to ensure compliance with applicable codesregulations and industry standards.
  16. Goodexposure to Fabrication and Construction activities related toStructural and Civil. Good knowledge of HSE Quality andInternational Codes & Standards
  17. Responsiblefor detailed engineering respect to his/herdiscipline.
  18. Good interpersonal relationshipcapabilities and communication (oral and written). Leadershipcapabilities teamwork and ability to coach guide and motivatesubordinates on the job. Qualifications / Experience: Degree orequivalent in Structural and CivilEngineering.
  19. Ensure correctness andcompleteness of engineering deliverables as per Local RegulationsProject Specifications Material Requisitions Approved TechnicalException/Deviation List
  20. Datasheets StandardDrawings Client Engineering Specifications Contractual requirementsand International Codes and Standards
  21. Conductsite visits and assessments to gather relevant data for projectfeasibility and design considerations.
  22. Stayupdated on industry trends innovations and best practices tocontribute to continuous improvement within theorganization.
  23. Ensure that commentsclarifications and queries from Client are promptly attended towith Comments Resolution Sheet (CRS) during the next revisionsubmission.
  24. Participate in discussions withClient Engineering Subcontractor and Vendors for technical queriesand clarifications respective to his/her discipline to comply theclient technical and contractualrequirements.
  25. Apply Lessons Learned fromprevious projects and that received from Clients andSubContractors.
  26. Prepare guidelines for designor drafting outsourcing.
  27. Any other duties andresponsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Experience

1012 Years of Relevant experience in similarrole

Professional Engineer /Chartered Engineer Certification is preferred
