You will get an opportunityto work in scaling our infrastructure to the next generation. Ourscale is already huge in running tens of thousands of tests forevery commit automatically. This comes with challenges in speed byreducing compute time from days to a fewminutes.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be part of the team thatbuilds, maintains, and improves our highly-automated build, releaseand testing infrastructure.
  • Scripting,tools-building, and automation are paramount to Okta Engineering;everybody automates. You will be creating and coding tools forinternal use to support continuousdelivery.
  • Team up with Development, QA and Opsto continuously innovate and enhance our build and automationinfrastructure
  • Collaborate with peers andstake-holders to create new tools/process/technology. We use thelatest technology from AWS and you can experiment, recommend, andimplement new technologies in our build and CIsystem.
  • Work with internal customers toroll-out projects and process, monitor adoption, collect feedback,and fine-tune the project to respond to internalcustomers' needs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with one ormore programming languages including Python, Go, Java,Javascript
  • Good understanding of applicationdevelopment, micro services architecture and successful elements ofa multi-service ecosystem
  • Ability to coordinatecross-functional work towards taskcompletion.
  • Understanding of Agilemethodologies is a plus.
  • Past experienceworking on AWS or K8S
  • Good understanding ofvirtualization, dynamic provisioning, Docker, AWS andLinux
  • Experience in Kubernetes is aplus
  • B.S. Computer Science orequivalent.
