RoleSummary

Asa data architect you are expected to have solid data managementexperience (Data modelling Data Quality ETL and Reporting) and useyour experience to support daytoday data science activities as wellas coming up with initiatives that can enhance the work experiencein data domain by leveraging data quality and standardizingmodelling and ETL designs.

The rolerequires strong partnership with data scientists data engineersdata analysts and reporting teams by demonstrating stronginterpersonal and communication skills as well as project andstakeholdermanagement.
 

WhatsOn Your Plate

As aData Architect you will be responsible for two scopes ofwork:

  1. DataUnitsSupport

    • Actas a data management consultant for our data scienceteams:

      • Guidethem to create data models and ETL pipelines that best serves theiruse case following best practices in terms of performance qualityandcost.

      • Reviewproduction deployment requests and advice changes to follow the setstandards.

      • Supportthe team in tuning their datasolutions.

      • Alignpriorities and plan weekly/monthlyactivities.

  2. HorizontalInitiatives

    • Identifygaps and shortfalls and build endtoend data solutions that fillsthe gaps in termsof:

      • Reducingdata platform activitiescost.

      • Enhancingdata pipelinesperformance.

    • Build/Maintaindata products that supports data quality and governanceprogram

      • Build/Enhancedata quality gatessolutions.

      • Identifydata quality and governance shortfalls perform root cause analysisand advice a solution and monitoringmechanisms.

      • Ona team rotational basis act as a production support guardian forthe entire data platform ETL pipelines on yourturn.

    • Partnerwith our data engineering and data reporting teams and worktogether to better support the data units and align on horizontalinitiatives across the dataplatform.

Qualifications:

  • Advancedworking SQL knowledge and experience working with relationaldatabases as well as working familiarity with a variety ofdatabases.

  • Solid datamodelling experience with 58 years ofexperience.

  • Experiencebuilding and optimizing data pipelines datawarehouse architectures and datasets.

  • Experience performingroot cause analysis on internal and external data and processes toanswer specific business questions and identify opportunities forimprovement.

  • Strong analyticskills related to working with unstructureddatasets.

  • Build processessupporting data transformation data structures metadata dependencyand workloadmanagement.

  • Strong projectmanagement and organizationalskills.

  • Experiencesupporting and working with crossfunctional teams in a dynamicenvironment.

  • A good problemsolver with a figure it out growthmindset.

  • Bachelorsdegree in engineering computer science technology or similarfields.
