JobAccountabilities

  • Negotiate, draft, review and adviseupon, all required legal documentation in relation to the companymatters, including corporate matters, leases (commercial,residential, and retail), facilities management agreements,property management agreements, development agreements, assignmentagreements, settlement agreements, confidentiality agreements,MOUS, LOIs, and all other related and ancillarydocuments.
  • Provide legal consultation, advice,and support to companies across the Group in respect of bothexisting and prospective matters, and to identify, contain andmanage exposure and contingent risk.
  • Ensureproper compliance by Group companies with all property laws andregulations including, but not limited to, Dubai Landlord andTenant Law, and the Strata Law.
  • To managelitigation and liaise with external lawyers.and (with input fromlocal and external legal counsel) will also need to be familiarwith applicable laws in respect of Group property relatedbusinesses operating in the region andbeyond.
  • Provide advice in respect of moregeneral commercial matters (including intellectual property,agency, distributorship, franchising, and finance issues) as wellas advising on the management and conduct of various contentiousmatters. To also provide advice, as and when required, onconstruction related matters.
  • Ensure thecorrect submission of legal requirements as required by CorporateGovernance and any other statutory requirements regarding theformation and operation of thecompany.

Qualifications, Experiences,Skills:

Min. 4-6 years ofexperience with at least 3 years negotiating, drafting, andexecuting complex contracts in real estateindustry.
