  • End toend management of the assigned customer portfolio from the accountset up to cash collections/disputemanagement.
  • The majority of time will be spenton collection activities: calling customers, sending statements,and reminder notices.
  • A/R accountreconciliation
  • Process credit applications,review and analyze customer financial statements, andapprove/recommend credit limits.
  • Review salesorders on credit hold for approval
  • Mustinteract with customers, internal departments and upper managementin a professional manner as needed. This interaction includesproviding guidance, direction, and expertise in balancing Credit& Collections techniques, communicating credit limits,credit holds and taking the lead role in workoutsituations.
  • Make recommendations on bad debtreserves on a monthly basis. Provide auditors with requiredinformation relating to bad debt reserves.
  • Bean advocate for the customer by liaising between Trimble businessunit(s), the Order-to-Cash team and the customer. Ensure a smoothprocess flow while maintaining a high level of customerservice.
  • Manage risk creatively driving win/winsituations between Trimble and customersworldwide.
  • On major past due accounts andorders on hold, deliver timely and concise information to proper BUcontrollers, sales, and the Credit ManagerEMEA.
  • Produce reports as requested by theCredit Manager EMEA or any other internal customers such asbusiness unit controllers.
  • Work closely withapproved collection agencies, as well as trustees, and/or attorneysin bankruptcy situations.
  • Consistently improveproductivity and efficiency through process improvementinitiatives, time management, and changemanagement.
  • Embrace change and complexity asTrimble continues to grow and be prepared to take on addedresponsibilities as assigned.
  • Occasional travelmay be required as needed

Profile Of IdealCredit & Collections Analyst

  • A degree in Business Finance orAccounting
  • Several years of relevant experiencein international Credit &Collection
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English(German or other European languages being aplus)
  • Strong analytical, mathematical andaccount reconciliation skills
  • Proficiency inusing Microsoft office and GoogleWorkspace
  • Effective written and spokencommunication skills with various levels of management and externalbusiness contacts while conveying a positive, service-orientedattitude is a must
  • Adaptive to leadershipstyles that promote collaboration, teamwork
