  • Gather and developexternal research to support Meta's policy positions onlegislative and regulatory issues.
  • Draft policyposition papers for internal and external audiences on a range ofdata regulatory matters, including artificialintelligence.
  • Develop content for globalaudiences to further Meta's legislative and policypositions (e.g., op-eds, position papers,etc.).
  • Work closely with a cross-functionalglobal team on data regulation matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of AIregulatory trends across the globe and their impact and relevancefor our industry.
  • Knowledge of key AI policyissues and the surrounding debate: accountability, existentialrisk, generative AI, transparency, privacy, bias, misuse andmisinformation, and an experience to leverage this knowledge forcross policy talking points, and leadership capacitybuilding.
  • Experience analyzing and draftinglegislation, and drafting short- and long-form educationalmaterials and talking points.
  • Experiencenavigating dynamic work environments and prioritizing multiplesimultaneous projects.
  • Previous experiencecreating scalable policy solutions and frameworks for policy teamsto use based on knowledge of AI policy environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience working ontechnology law or policy.
  • Native or fluent inEnglish. Fluency in another language aplus.
  • Proven track record and experienceengaging on legislation in different regions around the world, andcollaborating with localstakeholders.
  • Experience in translatingregulation, in its draft or final form, into technical productrequirements and vice versa.
