ESSENTIAL DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver courses to students inspecified discipline areas of study
  • Evaluateand monitor individual student progress and provide feedback tosustain student success
  • Organize and manageinstructional resources, courses outlines, and communitynetworks
  • Conduct high-quality research inhis/her own field and publish research outcomes in reputablejournals and conferences.
  • Ensure a respectfuland culturally sensitive learning environment in allcollege-focused activities
  • Establish andmaintain effective work relationships across the organization andcommunity
  • Motivate and inspire confidence inothers (students and colleagues) to overcome limitations topersonal growth and success
  • Actively seek outmethods, procedures, and resources to best achieve course andlesson objectives
  • Maintain relationships withstudents that are conducive to learning
  • Performmiscellaneous job-related duties asassigned
  • Supervising dental students in theclinical training on evidence-based dentistry.

KNOWLEDGE &SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively,both orally and in writing

Desired candidate profile
  • ClinicalExpertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience inprosthodontics, including fixed and removable prostheses, dentalimplants, occlusion, and the use of advanced materials andtechnologies.
  • Teaching andMentoring: The ability to effectively teach andmentor dental students, residents, and interns. Strongcommunication skills to explain complex dental procedures andtheoretical concepts in an understandableway.
  • Research and AnalyticalSkills: Strong research skills, including theability to design and conduct scientific studies, analyze data, andpublish research findings in reputable journals. A commitment toadvancing the field of prosthodontics through innovativeresearch.
  • Patient Care andManagement: Proficiency in diagnosing, planning, anddelivering high-quality prosthodontic care for patients. Theability to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive treatmentplans that address patientneeds.
  • TeamCollaboration: Ability to collaborate with otherdental specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure thatpatient care is coordinated andcomprehensive.
  • Knowledge ofDental Technology: Familiarity with the latestadvances in dental technology, such as digital impressions, CAD/CAMsystems, 3D printing, and materials science, as well as the abilityto integrate these innovations into teaching and clinicalpractice.
  • Ethical Practice andProfessionalism: Adherence to the highest ethicalstandards in both clinical practice and academic work, including acommitment to patient confidentiality, informed consent, andprofessional integrity.
