Roles and responsibilities

TeamManagement:

  • Lead and manage the Utilities Team,including power, water, drainage, sewage, gas, and chilled waterservice lines.
  • Manage the Water Team,specializing in hydrology, reservoirs, dams, pumping stations, andtreatment systems.
  • Foster a collaborative andinnovative working environment to deliver high-quality engineeringsolutions.

FinancialOversight:

  • Responsible for the monthly Profit& Loss (P&L) for thisSector.
  • Develop and execute annual growthtargets, budgets, and forecast performance quarterlytargets.

Leadership andStrategy:

  • Provide strategic leadership,fostering innovation and excellence in projectdelivery.
  • Contribute to the successfulexecution of multi-disciplinary projects by collaborating withother department heads andstakeholders.
  • Ability to grow the service linesthrough market intelligence and client relationships.

Client RelationshipManagement:

  • Build and maintain strongrelationships with our key clients to maintain organicgrowth.
  • Client centric mindset who canestablish new service lines or growth in new areas to thebusiness.
  • Act as the primary point of contactfor key client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction andrepeat business.

OperationalExcellence:

  • Establish and maintain robustoperational processes to enhance efficiency and quality withparticular emphasis on monthly profit margins and efficient projectdelivery.
  • Ensure adherence to industrystandards, regulatory requirements, and best practices and managethe team capabilities inter-regionally in achievingthis.
  • Strong understanding of the sectorspricing strategies for work winning and delivery ofprojects.
  • Ability to grow our resource centresto improve margin and offshore more workeffectively.
Desired candidate profile
  • Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering, Water Engineering, or a related discipline; aMaster's degree is preferred.
  • Minimumof 20 years of experience in water and utility network services,with at least 5 years in a senior leadershiprole.
  • Proven expertise in managing large,diverse teams and delivering complex engineeringprojects.
  • Strong financial acumen withexperience in P&L management and achieving growthtargets.
  • Excellent client management skillswith a track record of developing and sustaining clientrelationships.
  • Familiarity with regionalregulatory frameworks and industry standards in the MiddleEast.
  • Exceptional strategic leadership anddecision making abilities.
  • Ability to inspire,mentor, and lead diverse, multidisciplinaryteams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal andcommunication skills.
