Description

POSITIONSUMMARY

Prepareingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storingfood. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh measure andmix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes qualitystandards presentation standards and food preparation checklist.Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves andfryers. Test foods to determine if they have been cookedsufficiently. Monitor food quality while preparing food. Setup andbreak down work station. Serve food in proper portions onto properreceptacles. Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knivesand equipment. Check and ensure the correctness of the temperatureof appliances and food.

Followall company and safety and security policies and procedures; reportmaintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions tomanager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensureuniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protectcompany assets. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers; support team to reach common goals; listen and respondappropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherenceto quality expectations and standards. Stand sit or walk for anextended period of time or for an entire work shift. Reach overheadand below the knees including bending twisting pulling andstooping. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing lessthan or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATION

Education: High school diploma orG.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Atleast 1 year of related workexperience.

Supervisory Experience: Nosupervisory experience.

License or Certification:None
