Assists in the preparation of quality documentation, including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to Painting & Coating works.Monitors all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Painting & coating works and in particular issues of design, procurement, construction and final hand over of the related Painting & Coating works.Monitors the implementation of Method Statements, and, Inspection & Test Plans related to Painting & coating works, and ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner in their area of assigned responsibility.Manages the inspection and testing of Painting & coating works in their area of assigned responsibilities, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors under their authority.Monitors the close out of punch lists established for incomplete related to Painting & Coating works.Monitors all measurement & testing instruments employed for Mechanical works, that they are functional and calibrated.Liaises and coordinates with 3rd Party Testing /Inspection Company as required related to Painting & Coating works.Statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to Painting & Coating works.Prepares, files, maintains test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to Painting & Coating works.Assisting construction personnel to identify and resolve problems and potential or actual non-conformances related to Painting & Coating works.

What you will need to have:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering10 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage)NACE Level II / BGAS CSWIP Grade 2Knowledgeable in surface preparation and painting of various materials, use of blasting equipment, Painting instruments. Hands-on in the inspection of surface preparation, blasting, Painting, Coating, Fireproofing, Insulation activities. Familiar in the review and approval of Product certificates – garnets and paints. Adept in the qualification of paint systems and applicator qualifications. Shall be familiar with various pipeline coating systems and the methods for inspection and certification including Holiday testing, salt contamination, DFT, WFT. Shall be well experienced in the preparation, review and approval of ITP, Method statements, Procedures. Conversant with International Codes and Standards, SHELL DEP, ADNOC specifications. Shall be familiar with repair methods for painting and coating, including their pre-qualification process O&G Projects experience.You are someone who:
