Please note that this is not an exhaustivelist of everything that needs to be done.  Anantara teammembers always find new ways to look after the business theirguests and team members. Within this the key responsibilities forthis position are:

  • Anticipate guestneeds and handle guest inquiries in a helpful and attentivemanner.
  • Has a complete knowledge of the resortproduct including room types rates relative features and facilitiesfood and beverage outlets and promotions spa and health club andother Anantara properties.
  • Take personalresponsibility for the service and attitude with which our guestservice is being delivered and ensure it meets the highest standardat all times.
  • Take personal responsibility forensuring all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met andthat follow up is completed on a timelybasis.
  • Ensure that handling of all financialtransactions is as per the resortpolicies.
  • Proactive and innovative suggestingalternatives that meet guest needs in enjoying their Anantaraexperience.
  • Keep the supervisor informed of allguest feedback whether positive or negative.
  • Todevelop a close and harmonious working relationship with alldepartments.
  • Attend resort events daily shiftbriefings and training to improve professionalskills.
  • Foster a good relationship with thirdparty companies.
  • Work closely with Conciergeand limousine drivers to ensure smooth transfer arrangements forguests.
  • Detailed and ensure proper handoverfrom incoming and outgoing shifts.
  • Answertelephones promptly and accurately and follow telephoneetiquettes.
  • Ensure timely follow up of allguest requests and reverts to guests or resort asappropriate.
  • Take ownership of guests requestsand needs and ensures immediate action asappropriate.
  • Keep Front Office Manager informedof all mishaps unusual cases and guestfeedbacks.
  • Well acquainted with all resortfacilities including the guest room facilities and know all eventsin the resort.
  • Keep himself/herself updated onthe arrivals departure and transport arrangements for theday.
  • Ensure guestrecognition.
  • Is able to identify andacknowledge repeat guests and VIPs.
  • Ensure thateach guest interaction is a delightful experience for theguests.
  • Never say NO. Offer alternatives asapplicable.
  • Always find a way to exceed guestsneed and expectations.
  • Ensure consistentdelivery of resorts service standards.
  • Isselfmotivated and leads his colleagues byexample.
  • Respect the departmental duty rosterand report to work on time.
  • Is open and willingto adapt to new procedures for the benefit of guests and colleaguesas and when introduces.
  • Attend all scheduledtraining courses organized by the department and resort as and whenasked to.
  • Is a team player and activelyparticipates in all team memberactivities.
  • Present himself/herself at alltimes with professional courtesy and etiquette towards both guestsand team members.
  • Is well groomed and in properuniform at all times.
  • Maintain a professionaldemeanor at all times.
  • Always project apositive image of the resort andcompany.
  • Ensure strict compliance to all resortand local laws regarding CID fire health safety and securityprocedures and actively participate in any training sessionsconducted on theaforementioned.

Qualifications:

  • A strong focuson customer service
  • Prior experience in hotelfront office operations is preferred
  • Excellentcommunication skills; fluency in English isrequired
  • Be able to work shifts weekends andpublic holidays
  • Computer skills in Ms Office;experience with current Property Management Systems (PMS) ispreferred.
  • Russian or GermanSpeaker will be anadvantage.
