Roles and responsibilities

Design Assistance: Help create visualcontent for a variety of projects, from social media graphics tomarketing materials, digital assets, and presentations. Support thedesign team in maintaining consistency with talabat'sbrand guidelines across all platforms. Participate in brainstormingsessions to bring fresh, creative ideas to thetable.

Administrative Support: Assist theDirector and Senior Creative Manager with organising meetings,managing schedules, and coordinating team activities. Help withtracking project timelines, updating design assets, and ensuringthat the team stays on top of deadlines. Prepare presentations,documents, and reports as needed, ensuring they are visuallypolished and aligned with brandstandards.

Collaboration: Work closely withother designers, product team, marketers, and stakeholders to helptranslate ideas into engaging visual content. Provide supportduring team meetings and creative reviewsessions.

Learning & Growth: Stayupdated on design trends and tools to continuously develop yourskills. Gain experience in using design software like AdobeCreative Suite, Figma, and others, while also learning about theprinciples of branding, typography, and layout. Have theopportunity to learn about motion design and contribute to simpleanimations for digitalplatforms.

  • A curiosity and love for design andcreativity, with a huge desire to grow and learn in thefield.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools likeAdobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma (experience with motiondesign is a plus but not required).
  • Goodorganisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively,especially when supporting senior team members with administrativetasks.
  • Strong communication skills, with anopenness to feedback and a desire to improve.
  • Acollaborative mindset and a proactive attitude toward learning andhelping out where needed.
  • UAE National who isexcited to grow within talabat.
Desired candidate profile

1. ProjectManagement

  • Overseeingthe flow of design projects from start to finish, ensuringdeadlines are met and quality standards aremaintained.
  • Coordinating between designers,clients, and other teams to ensure alignment on objectives andtimelines.
  • Experience with project managementtools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com) to track tasks, deadlines,and deliverables.

2.CommunicationSkills

  • Strong verbaland written communication for interacting with designers, clients,and stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly conveyproject requirements, feedback, andrevisions.
  • Communicating project status updateseffectively to team members andleadership.

3. CreativeCollaboration

  • Collaboratingwith graphic designers to ensure creative concepts align withclient needs and brand guidelines.
  • Reviewingdesign drafts and providing constructive feedback while respectingthe creative direction.
  • Ability to bringtogether different creative styles and concepts to meet specificproject goals.

4.Attention toDetail

  • Ensuring thatall design assets are aligned with brand guidelines and projectrequirements.
  • Reviewing work for accuracy,quality, and consistency before delivering to clients orstakeholders.
  • Proofreading and checking for anyerrors in design elements, text, and overallcomposition.

5. TimeManagement

  • Efficientlymanaging multiple design projectssimultaneously.
  • Ensuring designers adhere todeadlines and helping to allocate resources wherenecessary.
  • Prioritizing tasks based ondeadlines, urgency, and projectscope.

6. TechnicalSkills in DesignSoftware

  • Familiaritywith industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and others like Sketch orFigma.
  • Understanding file formats and how toprepare files for various outputs (web, print, social media,etc.).
  • Knowledge of design principles likecolor theory, typography, andlayout.

7.Problem-Solving andAdaptability

  • Addressingdesign-related challenges, whether technical (e.g., resizing oroptimizing files) or creative (e.g., redesigning a concept to meetclient feedback).
  • Adjusting quickly to changingproject requirements, priorities, or designspecifications.

8.Client and StakeholderManagement

  • Acting as apoint of contact between clients or internal stakeholders and thedesign team.
  • Gathering feedback from clients,ensuring it's actionable, and translating it to thedesign team.
  • Managing client expectations andensuring satisfaction with finaldeliverables.
