UAE National Graduate Trainee Program - Governance & Compliance

Tailored for fresh Emirati graduates, this program seeks those who embody a positive, can-do attitude and a relentless drive to excel.

Accelerated Career Advancement: We offer a wide range of positions for individuals who know they want to kick start their careers in the FMCG business. You will follow a plan including rotations within relevant departments where you will gain the right skills and experience that will help you further to move forward in your career advancement.

The Graduate Trainee for Governance & Compliance will play a key role in supporting the team with its responsibilities related to regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, risk management, internal controls, and adherence to industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in the governance and compliance field.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in monitoring and implementing compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support the preparation and review of compliance reports and assessments.
  • Conduct research on regulatory changes and best practices in governance and compliance.
  • Help identify and mitigate risks related to regulatory and compliance obligations.
  • Assist with internal audits and contribute to compliance audits as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for the governance and compliance teams.
  • Participate in training and awareness programs related to governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining governance documentation, reports, and records.
  • Help track and report on the status of compliance and governance initiatives.

Qualifications & Training

  • A recent graduate (within the last 1-2 years) with a degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.

Knowledge

  • A keen interest in governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
