Land Surveyor

• Site Surveying &Data Collection: Conduct detailed land surveys for undergroundutilities infrastructure and roadworks, including site measurement,leveling, and mapping. Collect and record topographic, boundary,and construction data as required.
• UndergroundUtilities Surveys: Perform specific surveys related to undergroundutilities, including water, sewer, drainage, and electricalsystems. Accurately map out existing utilities and provide precisedata for installation and relocationworks.
• Roadworks Surveying: Assist in surveyingand providing data for road construction, alignment, and grading.Ensure proper leveling and reference points are established forroad layout, subgrade, and pavementconstruction.
• Surveying Equipment Operation:Use advanced surveying instruments and tools (e.g., Total Stations,GPS, Leica, AutoCAD, and other surveying software) to carry outfield measurements and ensure dataaccuracy.
• Survey Reports &Documentation: Prepare and submit daily survey reports, includingmeasurements, observations, and discrepancies. Ensure all surveydata is recorded accurately and stored in line with projectrequirements.
• Collaboration with Project Team:Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers toprovide precise survey data and support in executing constructionactivities in alignment with projectspecifications.
• Quality Control &Accuracy: Ensure the quality and accuracy of all survey data,addressing any discrepancies and ensuring compliance with designspecifications and industrystandards.
• Assistance with Layout Works: Assistin setting out works for underground utilities and roadconstruction, ensuring all construction is in line with theapproved drawings and specifications.
• Health& Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standardson-site while conducting surveys, following all relevant safetyprotocols and procedures.
• Survey EquipmentMaintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment regularlyto ensure accuracy and properfunctioning.
• Liaison with Contractors:Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring properinterpretation of survey data and providing assistance in resolvingany on-site challenges related to land surveying.

• Education: ADiploma in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a relatedfield.
• Experience:
  • Over 6years of professional surveying experience, with at least 3 yearsof experience working in the UAE, particularly on undergroundutilities and roadworks projects.
  • Experience inconducting surveys for underground utilities infrastructure (water,sewer, drainage) and road construction isessential.
• TechnicalSkills: Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment such asTotal Stations, GPS systems, and AutoCAD. Knowledge of softwarelike Leica, Survey Pro, or similar tools isadvantageous.
• Communication Skills: Strongverbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic languageskills are a plus). Ability to communicate effectively with theproject team, contractors, andclients.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attentionto detail and accuracy in data collection, measurement, andreporting.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identifyand resolve survey-related issues efficiently, ensuring minimaldisruption to the project timeline.

• TotalStation: Proficiency in using total stations tomeasure angles, distances, and elevations for precisesurveys.
• GPS/GNSSSurveying: Using Global Positioning System (GPS) orGlobal Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) tools to capture highlyaccurate location data.
• LevelingInstruments: Knowledge of using levels fordetermining elevations and establishing horizontal controlpoints.
• LaserScanning: Experience in using 3D laser scanningtechnology for detailed, high-precisionmeasurements.
• Theodolites:Ability to use theodolites for measuring horizontal and verticalangles in the field.

2.Mapping and DataAnalysis

• TopographicMapping: Creating detailed maps that show thenatural and man-made features of a given area, includingelevations, contours, andstructures.
• BoundarySurveying: Determining the legal boundaries of aproperty through field measurements and analysis of historicaldata.
• SiteSurveys: Conducting surveys for construction sites,including the measurement of land slopes, property boundaries, andexisting structures.
