You as a HUB HRBP Middle East & Africa will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. The HR business partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in the Hub. This position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. Acting as an employee champion and changing agent, assessing, and anticipating HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR and business management, seeking to develop integrated solutions. Formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The position may include international human resource responsibilities. Maintaining an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing processes for assigned Hub based on company guidance and HR Management instructions. Oversees implementation of all HR processes within Middle East Africa, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, talent management, talent acquisition, remuneration, workforce development, and other processes as applicable.
  • Partnering with other colleagues within the immediate HR network to achieve Hub targets through business and HR action plans. Using HR Services resources and provides feedback or input based on experiences into the development and the implementation of new or improved processes, products, or services to support business strategies.
  • Actively participates in the definition of long-term business objectives and defines the local strategic HR priorities to support business strategy in alignment with HR policies and guidelines.
  • Partners with operating unit managers and business functions in the Hub to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsel business leadership on the most effective solutions to resolve issues and support long-term objectives.
  • Overseeing activities regarding industrial relations and organized labor within Middle East Africa and representing HR in the business, builds partnerships between employees, HR and Managers. Offering HR solutions and collects feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with legislation and HR policies, and adherence to occupational health & safety and compliance standards in all areas of responsibility and that the Hub is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Your background

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business Admin, Human resource or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 15 years of Human Resources business experience in industrial sectors, preferably in power in middle east is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, and performance management
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
