  • Implement corporate HSE Policy,HSE plan and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSEperformance, HSE targets and suggest measures for furtherimprovement.
  • Make sure that client'ssafety requirements are being fullfilled.
  • Liaise with safety manager andcontractors for the improvement & implementation ofcorporate HSE management ethics.
  • Monitorcontractors to ensure the implementation of applicable safetymeasures at site to full fill Legal and clientrequirements.
  • Review Site safety Plan,Emergency plan, and other safety related plans submitted by thecontractor. Review od Statement and risk ysis for all activitiesand monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures. Carry outHSE inspections and report to resident engineer for immediaterectification.
  • Review and monitor contractorsmonthly HSE inspections / reports.
  • Conductingmonthly Safety meetings, setting the target to achieve theoutstanding issues, prepare / submit the minutes to all concern tofollow-up.
  • Review emergency preparedness andresponse, permit to work system, Toolbox Talks, HSE statistics& records of the contractors according to companyrequirement.
  • Review incident/accidentinvestigation reports from contractors, reporting &communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate actionand follow-up actions to minimize / prevent fromre-occurrence.

What Required SsYou'll Bring

  • At least a Bachelor'sDegree in any Construction related Engineering Degree orOccupational safety and healthand internationally approved Safetycourses.
  • Minimum 8+ years' experienceas Safety Engineer in infrastructure projects inUAE.
  • With recognized Health and Safetycertifications, license or training in UAE (e.g. ISO, NEBOSH, FirstAid, Fire Safety, etc).
