Create detailed electrical drawings and layouts based on project specifications and engineering requirements. This includes drafting and revising designs for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, communication systems, and other electrical services. You will assist engineers in developing electrical designs and ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and client requirements. Additionally, you will generate as-built drawings for completed projects, collaborate with electrical engineers and other disciplines, and review and update existing electrical drawings. Your responsibilities may also include maintaining organized records of electrical drawings and related documentation, supporting the preparation of tender, construction, and shop drawings, and conducting site visits to gather data or verify existing conditions.

Key qualifications for this role include a diploma or degree in electrical engineering, drafting, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of drafting experience in the GCC with a strong background in electrical systems. You should be proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software, and have familiarity with local GCC regulations, standards, and codes related to electrical systems. Your skills should also include the ability to interpret electrical engineering drawings and specifications accurately, as well as excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and documentation skills. Experience working on large-scale building infrastructure or industrial projects is preferred, and you should have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, architects, and contractors. You should also be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
