PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

  • In this role you will beresponsible for the execution of the firms Marketing strategyacross the MENA region managing a team of various marketingspecialists and will work closely with the partners of the firm aswell as senior management.The focus of this role is tosupport the firm and its stakeholders from our HQ in Dubai withtheir ambitious growth plans identifying creative marketingcampaigns and activities across the different markets with the aimto improve our overall brand recognition and market profile andreputation.

DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES

General

  • Develop an actionablemarketing strategy and action plan which is in line with the firmsstrategy and business plans.
  • Communicating withpartners directors and other departments to ensure that all partiesare aware of current marketing projects and futureplans.
  • Responsibility for the successfulexecution of said plans with clear KPIs and other measures forsuccess.
  • Analyse and understand market demandindustry trends and client needs.
  • Work with keystakeholders on securing strategic partnership for jointopportunities (such as events with theMinistries).
  • Develop marketing materials suchas brochures capability statements that promote the firmsservices.

Brand management

  • Oversee the development andmaintenance of a strong brand presence.
  • Ensureconsistent messaging and branding across all channels andcommunication materials.
  • Propose new ideas forbrand awareness campaigns across the region to promote the widerfirm.

Digital marketing

  • Develop a progressivedigital marketing strategy in collaboration with the DigitalMarketing Manager.
  • Lead digital marketinginitiatives including social media SEO. Email campaigns and onlineadvertising (where applicable)
  • Takeresponsibility over monitoring of online presence and engagementand increasing metrics as well as ensuring growth of our digitalfootprint across different channels morebroadly.

Content development

  • Work closely together withkey stakeholders in the firm to create engaging content across thefirms various online channels.
  • Manage thecreation of thought leadership articles blog posts and othercontent to showcase the firmsexpertise.

Event management

  • In close collaboration withthe Event Manager create plan and execute successful eventsseminars and webinars to promote the firms services and engage withclients.
  • Represent the firm at industryconferences and networking events.
  • Takeresponsibility over some of the firms flagship events such as ArabLawyers Forum (ALF) Family Business Symposium Partners Retreat andHigher Education Conference(HEC).

Communication and PR

  • Working closely with thecommittee take responsibility over the firms flagship publicationLaw Update.
  • Working closely with the PR& Communications Manager to ensure PR activity in themarket and turn general updates into interesting and newsworthymarket updates.
  • Maintain strong relationshipswith media outlets in the MENA region as well as the key legalmedia globally.
  • Work closely with our ProjectsManager on the execution of the next thought leadership flagshippublication due for publishing in 2024: LegalLeaders.
  • Working closely with the firms PR& Communications Manager Manage crisis communications andhandle media enquiries.
  • Update general firmcopy on a proactivebasis.

Budget management

  • Working closely with the BD& Marketing Director ensure marketing budget is beingmanaged efficiently ensuring costeffective strategies andmeasurable ROI.

Manage lead and inspire ateam consisting of:

  • Clients CommunicationsAdvisor
  • Creative BrandManager
  • SeniorDesigner
  • Designer
  • RegionalMarketing Manager
  • Digital MarketingManager
  • EventsManager

REQUIREMENTSPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Aminimum of a bachelors degree and preferably a masters degree inbusiness administration or marketing marketing strategy businessmanagement economics finance statistics oraccounting.
  • Proven track record in(professional services) marketing and ideally also in clientmanagement and business development.
  • Commercialresultsdriven mindset.
  • Strong communication andrelationshipbuilding skills.
  • Excellent spokenand written English skills.
  • Analytical andproject management skills with attention todetail.
  • Problem solver with ability to thinkendtoend be proactive creative and a quicklearner.
  • Effective influencingskills.
  • Team player as well as independentthinker.
  • Proven management skills ofeffectively managing a team of no less than twopeople.
  • Flexibility in working hours andtravelling.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience ina managerial role.
  • High level of proficiency inall basic MS suite products e.g. Powerpoint WordExcel.Experience in law firms or professional servicesfirms an advantage but not a necessity.
