- Assist the Site Architectin performing the contractual duties onsite.
- Verify the quality of finishes andmaterials used in the project, ensuring that they meet thespecified standards and project requirements, this involvesexamining the finishes, such as surface preparation, paint, orsurface coatings, to check for proper application, smoothness,color consistency, and absence ofdefects.
- Ensure that the installations offinishes, joineries, doors, windows, hardscaping, facade, walls,ceilings, and tiles comply with the approved shop drawings and therelevant industry standards.
- Examine theinstallation of finishes, such as tiles, flooring, glazing, GRC andwall claddings, to confirm that they are correctly installed,aligned, and secured, and the inspector shall check their adhesion,grouting, jointing, and overallworkmanship.
- Inspect the surface preparationsand verify that they are smooth, free from debris, and adequatelyprimed or sealed, and shall check materialscompatibilities.
- Inspect materials andinstallations for fire resistance, acoustic performance, moistureprotection.
- Is familiar with electronicdocumentation systems (ASite, Aconex,..etc) and be is able tomanage the snag/desnag process for hisdiscipline.
- Interface with the public,especially residents and business owners adjacent to the work tomitigate the construction impacts.
- Oversee andinspect all architectural work and ensure that installationactivities comply with contractual obligations and quality controlstandards.
- Follow-up with the contractor andsupport in coordinating with the utility authority regardingconnections whenever required.
- Ensures that theproject quality control procedures are used for the constructionsupervision works and monitors it forimprovement.
- Monitors and coordinates allcontractors' activities for thisdiscipline.
- Performs works inspection requestsand material inspection requests on a dailybasis.
- Support the Site Architect in reviewingsubmittals from project inception toclose-out.
- Collaborates with constructionmanagement to eliminate any hazards associated with the work thatmay adversely affect the environment or the safety or health ofemployees.
- Reviews and interprets disciplinedesign drawings and specifications to ensure current re visionlevel and correct technical execution of thework.
- Provides resolution for technicalengineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinatesapplication of solutions to ensure progress onsite.
- Monitors material procurement anddeliveries to ensure timeliness in support of constructionactivities and schedule within the assigneddiscipline.
- Ensures that materials receivedmeet specifications and established standards ofquality.
- Organizes the accumulation of assigneddiscipline data for the final project turnover andreport.
- Initiates and maintains records, backcharge procedures, progress reports, etc., asrequired.
- Performs other responsibilitiesassociated with this position as may beappropriate.

To be successful inthis role, you will have:
- Degree inArchitecture.
- Min of 5 years postgraduateexperience on large scale projects.
- Revit& Other software packages is anadvantage.
- Regionalexperience.
- ADM & DM registration ispreferred.
- Must be aware of local applicablebuilding codes requirements (ADIBC, ADCD(FLS),..etc).
- A professional who can manage andcoordinate specialized activity, discipline or team of moderatesize and complexity.
