The Public Relations Officer (PRO) isresponsible for managing and ensuring compliance with allgovernment-related processes and documentation for employees andthe organization. The role involves efficient handling of employeelifecycle activities such as onboarding, visa management, labordocumentation, and Emirati-specific processes, ensuring compliancewith UAE labor laws andregulations.

The Public Relations Officer(PRO) plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth employee lifecyclemanagement, regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination withgovernment authorities. Their work directly impacts theorganization's adherence to labor laws, employeesatisfaction, and the successful onboarding and retention oftalent.

What's on the menu?(Duties &Responsibilities)

This role willtake direction from the Line manager and any other team memberassigned by the line manager or HOD. Day-to-day tasks willinclude:


• Process new labor (MOL) andvisa applications (including Tawjeehrequirements).


• Handle visa renewalsand labor modifications efficiently.


•Manage immigration modifications foremployees.


• Process and overseeapplications for family visas and goldenvisas.


• Conduct visa cancellations(labor and residency visas).


• Assist inEmirati onboarding and offboardingprocesses.


• Conduct NAFIS and pensionmeetings for Emirati employees.


•Support pension activities, including enrollment, cancellation, andpayment processing.


• Prepare andmaintain accurate finance reports related to PROactivities.


• Conduct GR checks toensure compliance with governmentregulations.


• Track and report ILOE(Involuntary Loss of Employment) compliance foremployees.


• Manage document collectionfor onboarding and other processes.


•Process probation extensions and other employment-relatedupdates.


• Provide accurate and timelypayroll inputs related to labor and governmentcompliance.

Desiredcandidate profile

Qualifications &experience:

High school diploma orabove education.

Prior experience in anadministrative support role is an advantage, but notessential

Skills andattributes:

Familiarity with UAElabor laws and government portals.

Strongorganizational and time-managementskills.

Excellent verbal and writtencommunication abilities.

Proactive anddetail-oriented with a focus oncompliance.

Ability to maintain confidentialityin handling sensitive information

  • MediaOutreach: Building and maintaining relationshipswith journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure positivemedia coverage.
  • Press Releases& Statements: Writing and distributing pressreleases, managing media inquiries, and ensuring accurate andtimely information isshared.
  • CrisisCommunication: Preparing for and managingcommunications during a crisis to protect the company'sreputation.

3.StrategicThinking

  • Developinglong-term public relations strategies that align with theorganization's goals andobjectives.
  • Crafting strategies to increasevisibility, brand awareness, and stakeholderengagement.
  • Analyzing public opinion and mediatrends to adjust strategiesaccordingly.

4. SocialMediaManagement

  • Managing andcurating content for social media platforms to ensure a consistentbrand presence online.
  • Engaging with followersand responding to public comments orinquiries.
  • Monitoring social media channels formentions, trends, and potential issues that may need to beaddressed.

5. CrisisManagement

  • Developingcrisis communication plans to quickly respond to any publicrelations issues or negative press.
  • Managingthe organization's reputation by handling negativepublicity effectively and minimizing damage to thebrand.

6. Branding andMarketingKnowledge

  • Understandingthe organization's brand, voice, and values and ensuringall PR communications align withthese.
  • Supporting marketing efforts bycoordinating PR campaigns, events, and promotions to reinforce thebrand image.

7.Research and AnalyticalSkills

  • Conductingresearch to understand public opinion, media trends, and competitoractivity.
  • Monitoring and analyzing mediacoverage and public sentiment about the organization or itscompetitors.

8. EventManagement

  • Organizingevents such as press conferences, product launches, mediabriefings, or public speaking engagements to promote the brand ormessage.
  • Coordinating logistics, managing guestlists, and ensuring the event aligns with public relationsobjectives.
