Collaborateclosely with IT business and compliance teams to guaranteethe

uninterrupted availability robustsecurity and full compliance of oursystems

KeyResponsibilities

ServerAdministration:

Install configure andmaintain Linux servers and systems. OEL 6 to8

Plan and Upgrade OSversions

Monitor system performanceand implement performance optimizationstrategies.

Administer user accountsand permissions ensuring data security andaccess

control.

Setup maintain Linux clusters.

Setupmaintain DR environment

SystemMaintenance:

Conduct routine systemupdates patches and backups.

Performsystem and hardware upgrades asnecessary.

Troubleshoot and resolvesystem and network issues in a timelymanner.

SecurityManagement:

Collaborate with Infosecand Auditing team to implement and maintainsecurity

measures to protect againstunauthorized access data breaches and cyberthreats.

Conduct regular securityaudits and apply necessary securitypatches.

Virtualization andContainerization:

Manage virtualenvironments using technologies such as VMware OVMOLVM.

Experience with migrating VMsacross different virtualizationplatforms

Experience withcontainerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) is aplus.

Automation and ConfigurationManagement:

Utilize Ansible forautomation and configuration management of Linuxsystems.

Develop and maintain scriptsfor system automation andtasks.

Monitoring andAnalysis:

Set up and configure ELKStack for log analysis andmonitoring.

Implement monitoringtools to ensure system health andperformance.

Respond to alerts andproactively address potentialissues.

Scripting andAutomation:

Develop and maintainscripts (Bash Python etc.) for system automation andtasks.

Implement and optimizeautomated processes for routinetasks.

Develop test and implementscripts for DRM automation

Monitoringand Alerting:

Set up and configuremonitoring tools like logrhythm to ensure system healthand

performance.

Respond to alerts and proactively address potentialissues.

GoodtoHave Skills andConcepts:

Familiarity with storagesolutions including SAN and NAStechnologies.

Understanding ofnetwork concepts such as VLANs routing andsubnetting.

Knowledge of cloudcomputing platforms (e.g. AWS AzureGCP).

Experience with load balancersand highavailability configurations.

Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (DockerKubernetes).

Knowledge of backup anddisaster recoverystrategies.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation for configurations procedures andpolicies.

Keep system diagrams up todate.

Should be providing weeklymonthly reports as per thecompliance.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support various ITprojects.

Provide guidance andmentoring to junior team members.

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or otherrelevant field

Knowledge of Middlewaretechnologies (WebLogic JBoss TomcatIIS)

Knowledge of serviceorientedarchitecture (SOA) and enterpriseapplication

integration (EAI)concepts

Profound understanding ofmultipletier applicationarchitecture.

Familiarity with ELKStack for log analysis andmonitoring.

Strong experience inLinux server administration including various distributionslike

Oracle Red Hat CentOS Debian andUbuntu.

Set up and maintain Linux OVMOLVM clusters.

Set up and maintainvarious reverse proxy solutions such as Apache orNginx.

Set up and maintain OracleLinux Automation Manager and deployautomation

scripts asrequired.

Set up and maintain variousagents such as Illumio and MicrosoftDefender.

Set up and configureRabbitMQ instances.

Manage andconfigure Wordpress instances.

Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configurationmanagement.

Competency in workingwith cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azureor

GCP.

Understanding of network concepts including VLANs routing andsubnetting.
