We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Engineer Water to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and oversee complex water infrastructure projects driving sustainable solutions for our clients and the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:- Spearhead the design and implementation of large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure project quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated water management solutions.
- Conduct advanced hydraulic modeling and analysis for complex water systems.
- Oversee environmental impact assessments for water-related projects.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovative technologies in water engineering.
- Contribute to business development efforts and proposal writing.
- Ensure compliance with local and international water regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience with at least 5 years in the UAE or other GCC countries.
- Ability to lead a team of engineers to deliver medium to large-sized projects.
- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for the team.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work by others.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Uses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Provides input to developing the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
