The Manager HSES position requires acandidate to take ownership of the HSES Management Systems andsupport project / operations to deliver HSES goals. Responsibilities

KeyTasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead implementation andensure HSE-MS is compliant with corporate, legislative and clientrequirements. Regularly review improvementopportunities.
  • Lead/Manage Marine & HUCHSES team, provide leadership guidance and promote a "OneTeam" ethic.
  • Develop and reviewperformance goals and HSES objectives and targets includingdepartment KPIs.
  • Develop an integrated approachto HSES Risk Management process. Participate and provide inputs asrequired and ensure mitigating controls remain suitable andsufficient.
  • Monitor compliance with HSESregulatory and other applicable requirements and managechanges.
  • Manage, monitor and advise on allmatters related to HSES. Provide technical and commercial supportduring tendering stage.
  • Prepare HSES budget andensure compliance.
  • Engage in pre and post awardcontractor management process.
  • Planning andexecution of the internal and external HSES Audits and complianceassurance programs
  • Prepare and maintain actiontracking registry including review of supportingevidence.
  • Initiate training needs and analysisand provide support and guidance in the development and delivery ofHSES training material.
  • HSES resources andrecruitment planning
  • Engage in professionaldevelopment to lead HSES changes in technology and systems.Supervise HSES personnel to support their professional developmentthrough competency assurance programs.

Qualifications

EssentialQualifications and Education:

  • NEBOSH Diploma orequivalent
  • Trained and experienced ISOstandards lead auditor (9001, 14001, or45001)
  • Maintain key competencies associatedwith the HSES function
  • Ability to work as ateam member as well as act as a teamleader
  • Excellent communication and presentationskills, both written and verbal Be conversant with local andinternational HSES laws and regulations
